Wow it’s May already! Where does the time go? Well It’s easter already and off we go to do some Sunshine Coast Camping.
I have to say that so far I know we have only traveled a small part of this great country, but so far we are loving living on the road.
I’ve enjoyed myself way to much and haven’t been keeping up my blog, sorry but I will do better from now on.
Sunshine Coast Camping with kids!
Having 4 children come camping with us. So we headed to Woodford Showgrounds; For our Sunshine Coast Camping grounds. Plenty of room there and it worked great as a base camp for the Motorhome and tent set up for kids while we went on day trips and exploring the area, the grounds there are lovely and beautiful garden beds for Charlie to ‘mark his territory’ Yep of course Charlie is with us as, Woodford Showgrounds are Sunshine Coast camping with dogs friendly.
While based there we spent time just relaxing as it rained which I must say was just brilliant, game of charades lasted 6 hours with 6 people playing! I swear that must be a record!!!
The area around us there was pleasant to drive around. Day trip out to Kilroy for lunch and scenic drive, then a day trip to explore the Glass House Mountains.
The Big Pineapple at Nambour, then up to Noosa for a walk along the gorgeous beach.
Sunshine Coast Camping Australia
Indeed the week was most definitely filled with fun and laughter from everyone who was at Woodford showgrounds. So many families basing themselves there the same as we did over Easter. The showground had a movie on one Saturday night where the Easter bunny came to all the children. And the following Saturday we were lucky enough to have an award winning singer songwriter there recovering from surgery. Who did a mini concert.
So we had the children up dancing to country music and having a ball, just as all the adults did as well.
New friendships were formed and a fantastic time was had, which is really what camping is all about.
End of the Sunshine Coast camping holiday for the children so it’s time to pack up the tent and sleeping bags and go back to RV Living Australia for 2 plus Charlie.
