Charlie is starting to feel better. But not 100% yet but he certainly enjoyed being able to go off his lead for a run. As there was no one else at the Maryborough Showground when we arrived. We never let him off the lead while others are around, need to be respectful of others.
Well there is certainly plenty of room here for camping, Caravans, Motorhomes whatever your choice of RV. Huge toilet and shower block which is well maintained, and even a book stand with some reading material in the laundry. However there is no washing machine here. There is two dump points within Maryborough Showground, one as you come in near the front gate if you are passing through i assume, and the other for people who are camping overnight right beside the toilet and shower block.
Maryborough Showground has a maximum of a 48 hours stay. Which we think could be extended to at least 7 days. The camping grounds are literally huge and i am sure they could accommodate stays of a longer duration. To stay at Maryborough Showground you simply roll up follow the signs to the grassed camping area, pick a site and plug-in, it’s too easy.

When driving into Maryborough Showground don’t be alarmed if the main gates are locked. This happened to us. They cordon off an area at times for events. Just stick to the far right and follow the tarred road around and you will come to an open gate on your left. This will take you into the camping grounds.
Well we decide to take advantage of the wide open spaces. And the power to do a bit of work on the new trailer. We find plenty to do to keep us busy while we are here, and Mick is able to jump on the computer and start doing some work. We make the most of the space and re clean and organise the house. It’s going to take a little while to find the perfect place for things… Setting up our home on wheels is no different to setting up a home of bricks and mortar.
It all takes time.
