Well hello again! Easter holidays are over and time to start planning and working out where we are going and what we are doing. Now we are basing ourselves at Cooroy No Worries RV Stop.
Cooroy No Worries RV Stop
Cooroy No Worries RV Stop, Indeed i must say is a great stop for big rigs! With the trailer attached we are now over 45 foot long… So we need plenty of room.
The hosts are friendly and helpful. There is a great, huge camp kitchen and beautiful rain water showers. And the cleanest toilets I’ve come across.
There is a beautiful grassed area and gorgeous gardens and the place is kept in tip-top condition. We must stress though 85% of the grounds are gravel. Which we do not mind. There is certainly no chance of getting bogged if it rains and you are not walking grass into your home. The Cooroy no worries stop over accommodates all travelers and Rv’s.
However if you do use your own in vehicle facilities you must have your tanks sealed. Cooroy no worries stop over has a policy of no dumping of your grey water tanks on their grounds.
Charlie has been a bit sick from the heat so we are having a few days off driving, it’s still very warm here and poor boy I think is missing the sea breeze of the Gold Coast.
Catching up on washing in the laundry here, is always a way to pass time. Indeed even On the road you still have chores that need to be done.

Cooroy Rv Friendly Town
Cooroy has recently put in a new dump point and assigned an area Cooroy Rv stop over for fully self-contained vehicles only to stay. Cost is $10 per nite with no facilities included.
Be warned friends the locals tell us that this is an area that will definitely flood in heavy rain.
Our Personal opinion and experience we would suggest going to Cooroy No Worries RV Stop.
The township people are very friendly and the shops are nice. We had lunch at a pet friendly café called the mulberry café.
The food was plentiful and delicious, with very friendly staff.
6th April is already upon us, and it’s time we start making our way up to Hervey Bay for a week of catching up with new friends made at Woodford and a bit of work, building a website for an electrician. So time to pack up the swaggy and start driving.
In closing after leaving a bit late from Cooroy we decided to camp at Maryborough Showgrounds – almost made it all the way but once again why rush when we can just take our time and enjoy, plus there is plenty of room here with a dump point, showers toilets and loads of room and power which is great.
